Social institutions to provide subsidized lunches for 20 people were opened in "Amancio."

Senior citizens and people in vulnerable situations continue to be a priority for the Cuban State. Therefore, two community care centers were inaugurated in the municipality of Amancio, located in districts 39 and 8, in the neighborhoods of El Uno and Las Delicias, respectively.

Las Tunas, Cuba.– These social institutions provide subsidized lunches for 20 people. The Azcuba group, the ESazúcar Basic Business Unit (UEB), the Pedro Plaza Fernández mini-industry, the Camilo Cienfuegos Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), as well as producers and self-employed workers, collaborated on the establishment of both facilities by donating food.

María Anela Martínez Martínez, an 83-year-old resident of Las Delicias, thanked the Revolution for this gesture towards her and other community members in need. The main political and governmental authorities of the southern municipality participated in the inauguration.
