This morning, the staff of the GEOCUBA Las Tunas Provincial Agency gathered for a special morning meeting filled with emotion and profound patriotic significance. The event, part of the celebrations for the Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz's Centennial, became a tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, whose legacy endures in every corner of the country and the hearts of its people.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- The highlight of the day came with the presence of a very special guest: the distinguished Professor Aleida Best Rivero, a Doctor of Educational Sciences and Full Professor at the University of Las Tunas. Her career, marked by effort and self-improvement, is directly linked to the ideals of social justice and education that Fidel Castro instilled. Aleida Best, a native of Las Tunas, is a living testament to how the Revolution opened the doors of knowledge to society.
With her characteristic modesty, Professor Best shared her most personal and significant experiences with those present, particularly those moments when she had the privilege of knowing Fidel during her youth.
GEOCUBA, faithful to the legacy of the Commander-in-Chief, reaffirmed its commitment to continue contributing to the development of the province and the country, thus honoring, through its work, the memory of the eternal Fidel in the year of his Centenary.
