Sheinbaum: “Now, from the government, we continue fighting to transform Mexico every day, with different tools.”

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum will lead an event at Zocalo Square of this capital to celebrate seven years of the Fourth Transformation, highlight its achievements, and address the challenges ahead.

Mexico City.- “First, the achievements, the victories of the Mexican people in these seven years. Where are we going? Where is the Fourth Transformation headed? Why do we have to keep fighting?” the president said in response to a question about the main themes of her message.

The head of the Executive Branch remembered that before Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (2018-2024) took office, marking the beginning of this process, the movement she now leads was fighting for change in the country and its administration.

“Now, from the government, we continue fighting to transform Mexico every day, with different tools,” she stated. Her speech during the rally, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time, will also address existing challenges and the principles of the reform process.

“How we govern; why it is important to maintain republican austerity; to govern with humility; why there must be no corruption; why it is essential that we continue to defend the sovereignty of our country,” she explained.

A few days ago, Sheinbaum shared a video on social media to reiterate the invitation to Zocalo Square and mentioned “a barrage of campaigns” and slander promoted against the Fourth Transformation in the last month. (PL)
