Cuban Communist Party (PCC)

Convinced that the agenda of the Communist Party of Cuba has to be increasingly closer to the public agenda of the country, the 8th Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the organization, which will be held on July 5 and 6, will devote part of its analysis to sustainable food production, one of the major concerns of our population.

Havana, Cuba.- It will also include issues related to the prevention and confrontation of corruption, crime, illegalities, and social indiscipline, phenomena that threaten the social welfare and the sacred conquests of our people that demand a battle that requires the conscious participation of all.

As has been explained, these fronts are impacted by the intensified economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba and, therefore, its consequences weigh on the prosperity of our population. The country's leadership has described these more than once as national security matters since the stability of offers guarantees the gradual recovery of national life.

At the Plenum, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee will also render an account of its management from the previous meeting, as a demonstration of adherence to the principles of democracy and transparency that characterize our revolutionary process and the party organization as the vanguard of society.
