The Seed Company of Las Tunas foresees the growth of its main productions for the present calendar, despite the limitations generated by the shortages of inputs in high-demand items such as beans.

No halt to population decrease trend

The population decline trend continues in the province of Las Tunas where -at the end of 2022- 528,853 people resided. Of that total, 267 thousand 232 are men, and 261 thousand 621 are women.

The shortage led to prioritization of basic services in fuel distribution

Given the shortage of gasoline, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas that the country suffers, the Government of Las Tunas took the necessary measures to ensure the operation of key services, while attending to emergencies that may arise from the citizenry, the Vice Governor Yelenis Tornet Menéndez explained to the press.
