Work on the Nueva Línea Photovoltaic Solar Park Gains Momentum

Nueva Línea photovoltaic solar park, in Delicias, Puerto Padre, Las Tunas.Brito Peña refers that the speed with which they have worked is admirable, taking into account that they started the work on January 26, with the preparation of the land and the roads as starting points.

He points out that all the civil works are in the process of being completed: the foundations of the office container, the elevated tank, and the cistern. He warns that the most difficult part is the trenching and cabling, which goes beyond civil engineering and goes into the cable connection, which is currently being done jointly with Copextel and the Electric Company.

The work of Las Tunas’ builders does not stop; when they finish at Nueva Línea, they will start the assembly of two more parks. "The 220 substation, which is at the Las Tunas exit to Manatí, already has part of the project started and supplies are available for its assembly in the country; the execution of the civil works should be completed in October.

"There is a third one, which we must begin the clearing of weeds on 32 hectares, in the community of Veguita, to project and finish it in December. It is the most delayed; therefore, it will entail that we redouble our efforts to finish it on schedule."
