Several health sector projects will be inaugurated in the province's eight municipalities by December 29, as part of the celebrations for the Triumph of the Revolution and Health Workers' Day, which, as is tradition, will extend until January 15, 2026.

Las Tunas, Cuba.– Dr. Ariel Guevara Bringa, Director General of Public Health, explained to 26 that the first inauguration was the remodeling of the Intensive Care Unit at the Dr. Ernesto Guevara General Teaching Hospital.

The expansion of the ward not only improves the hospital's capacity to resolve cases but also guarantees the effectiveness of medical care and improves the comfort of patients and staff."

“The 'Guevara' Hospital marked the starting point for this series of inaugurations. Regarding the expansion to all municipalities, a group of works with significant social and sectoral impact is being distributed consecutively,” added Guevara Bringa.

In this way, the Provincial Directorate of Health pursues tangible progress in sanitary infrastructure, aimed at strengthening the healthcare system and responding to the population's needs.
