39th graduation ceremony of the Luis Urquiza Jorge Vocational Pre-university Institute of Exact Sciences.

With the participation of authorities, teachers, students, and families, the 39th graduation ceremony of the Luis Urquiza Jorge Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) took place in Las Tunas. Some 177 students completed the twelfth grade at this high-performance school.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- During the ceremony, key figures in Cuban history: José Martí, Antonio Maceo, Ernesto Che Guevara, and Fidel Castro were honored. It was recalled that their principles continue to guide Cuban youth in developing values and commitment to the homeland.

Six of them excelled in their achievements in sports, culture, science, student leadership, and participation in international knowledge contests. A dozen members of this class received diplomas certifying them as integral students.

Also, 22 graduates earned Gold Diplomas, reflecting their high academic performance and perseverance throughout this educational period. These achievements confirmed the impact of the sustained work of the teaching staff and family support.

Recognition was also presented to 11 teachers, who achieved outstanding grades among their students in Spanish, Mathematics, and History, exceeding 98 percent.

The ceremony featured cultural events and moments of reflection on the transformative role of youth in society. It was emphasized that the graduates are completing a stage that prepares them for new challenges, with social commitment and strong convictions.

The event concluded with the official presentation of high school diplomas by mentor teachers and family members. This moment marked the beginning of a new era for the graduates, who will continue their studies in Higher Education or other areas of professional development. The institution expressed satisfaction with the successes achieved and its commitment to continue educating students with high academic results, ethical, and human qualities.

The First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, Osbel Lorenzo Rodríguez; the Governor, Yelenys Tornet Menéndez; and the Provincial Director General of Education, Nílser Piñeda Cruz, among other education system officials, participated in the twelfth-graders' graduation ceremony.
