Fuel sales from the world’s largest exporter fell to 6.93 million barrels per day (bpd) in May

The results of the Joint Organizational Data Initiative (JODI) showed that Saudi Arabia's oil exports fell in May to their lowest level in 19 months.

Riyadh.- That source further meant that cheap Russian crude attracted some large Asian buyers.

Fuel sales from the world’s largest exporter fell to 6.93 million barrels per day (bpd) in May, their lowest level since October 2021, and about 5.3 percent below April’s 7.32 million bpd.

In this regard, monthly export figures are provided by Riyadh and other members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to JODI, which publishes them on its website.

Saudi crude oil production fell by 502,000 bpd from April to 9.96 million bpd in May, while inventories decreased by 1.16 million barrels to 148.24 million. (PL)
