The Russian oil tanker Anatoly Kolodkin departed Saturday morning from Matanzas Bay, after completing the transfer of 100,000 tons of crude oil delivered by the Russian Federation as a gesture of solidarity, the Cuba-Petroleum Union (Cupet) reported on its Facebook page.

This is the second release of prisoners this year, coinciding with the religious celebrations of Holy Week.

As part of the process of granting prison benefits established by law and in accordance with Article 90, Section II of the Constitution of the Republic, it was decided to release 2,010 prisoners through a pardon approved by the Cuban Government.
