19th Entre Música Festival, in Las Tunas.

This Saturday marks the conclusion of the most significant event of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in Las Tunas, the Entre Música Festival, in its nineteenth edition, which has made the city vibrate with the sounds of Cuba's burgeoning artistic vanguard.

Las Tunas, Cuba.– “Entre Música” has established itself as a vital space for the development and promotion of young talent, serving as a platform for artists who are now leading figures in the Cuban musical scene. Activities have ranged from academic work to the most electrifying performances.

Among the dialogue sessions, the one dedicated to Cuban son music stood out, exploring its sense of identity and transcendence, especially given that just hours earlier, the practice of this genre was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Concerts and DJ sets featuring a wide variety of sounds were held with groups as Aníbal y su Tumbao, the Soul Quartet, and electronic projects like DJ Black and DJ Rasta. Classical music, represented by maestro Elvira Skourtis, was celebrated with its "From Dream to Poetry" gathering at the Huellas Cultural Center. Rock will also have its special night this Saturday at the AHS headquarters.

The most traditional venue of the festival, El Patio de Pepe (Pepe’s Courtyard), hosted distinguished guests such as Axel Milanés, Alain Garrido, and Adnara, fostering dialogue between artists and the public near the José Martí Plaza. And, of course, the Casa del Joven Creador (House of the Young Creator) provided a platform for emerging artists with a presentation by students from the El Cucalambé professional art school.

The event was complemented by the collective exhibition “Nexus” and the presentation of a video about Tony Ávila's concert by Yeinier Aguilera. This Saturday, the festival included a special activity dedicated to the infants at the Home for Children without Parental Care, reaffirming the social commitment of young artists.
