Social Sciences and Innovation for Development Fair.

Maceo Park hosted the activities of the first edition of the Social Sciences and Innovation for Development Fair, an initiative that aims to establish itself as a space for exchange and socialization.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Frank Villavicencio Estepa, provincial delegate of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) in this region, explained to the press that “The idea responds to the need to promote government involvement in science. So, we are showcasing a range of solutions and experiences from local entities and inviting those not yet involved in this process to join us in pursuing development.

“This is the initial edition, and we are holding it amidst the country’s complex situation. The intention is for it to serve as a starting point so that the 2026 Fair will be of higher quality and much broader.” “We know that research and innovation open doors to development in our province.”
