Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel is on an official visit to Grenada

On Wednesday, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel is on an official visit to Grenada, the third and last stop on his tour of Caribbean nations.

Saint George.- On his Twitter profile, the president described Grenada as a friendly country, where dozens of Cubans provided their modest knowledge and efforts and expressed interest in consolidating fraternal and cooperative relations.

Earlier, Díaz-Canel participated in a colloquium for the 50th anniversary of relations between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Cuba, held at the University of the West Indies in Barbados, the last activity in Bridgetown.

The head of State expressed appreciation for the meeting, “dedicated to the 50 years of fruitful and fraternal relations, built on the foundations of friendship, respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

Díaz-Canel also described the visit to Barbados as unforgettable.

There, he participated in the 8th CARICOM-Cuba Summit, a space for cooperation in health, human resources training, medical assistance, and the use of biopharmaceuticals. (PL)
