A liter of oil per nucleus will be saleStarting this Monday, the chicken, oil and toilet products sold in the Caribe and CIMEX store chains will be controlled through the ration card in the municipality of Las Tunas.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The information was released to the press through a note issued by the Municipal Defense Council, signed by its vice president Juana Yamilka Viñals.

The measure, which extends to all towns in the province, is part of those taken to avoid crowds in the queues, scenarios that favor the transmission of COVID-19. This initial moment allows the purchase by each family nucleus of a package of chicken and a liter of oil, products that maintain the price that they usually have in these store networks, without subsidies.

The note highlights that regular stores were assigned to the different currency collection stores. The sales will be made to a member of the nucleus, who must present with the identity and the ration cards. Vulnerable cases will be dealt with within each of the Defense Councils.

Sales begin this Monday at seven points in the city. These are the cases of the first 700 nuclei of the La Esperanza regular store, which will buy at the Casa Azul shop; while the 268 that belong to "La Romana" will do so in La Tropical (La Cubana).

The first 447 nuclei of La Tunera store will purchase at the El Éxito shop (known as “the red roof” of the Buena Vista district). At the same time, the first 300 nuclei of the “50 Aniversario,” will acquire the products in Variedades (National Bus Terminal). On the other hand, the first 200 of La Barata will buy in Las Galaxias, located in the extension of Gonzalo de Quesada Street.

Also 360 nuclei of "Leningrado" and 120 of "La Blanquita" will be benefited in the shops of the same name.
