25th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated on Friday his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro, on the 25th anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution, led by Commander Hugo Chávez.

Havana, Cuba.- “The 25 years of the Revolution that opened the roadmap to Venezuela's true independence. Chávez took up Bolívar's work, and started a new stage of hopes and struggle for the peoples of Our Americas,” Díaz-Canel posted on X.

Meanwhile, Maduro pointed out on X that this is a new anniversary of a process marked by the democratization of culture, education, health, sports, and political power.

After the unobjectionable triumph of Commander Hugo Chávez in the elections of December 6, 1998, on February 2, 1999, a stage of transformation began for Venezuela to achieve social equality, inclusion, and the vindication of the people's fundamental rights, the Venezuelan Government underscored.
