LUDEMA Furniture will open a specialized workshop for doors manufacture

An innovative specialized workshop in the manufacture of doors will enter into operation this month, as the result of an international economic association between the LUDEMA base business unit (UEB), from Las Tunas and an Italian entity.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The project was born thanks to the LUDEMA's products proved comfort and quality in the national market and the need to implement new projects that guarantee the gradual complementation of services in the supply of furniture for tourism, public institutions, and sales to the population.

Dailie Sarría Cherry, head of the Engineering and Development group, told the Cuban News Agency that the new products will be destined for sales in European countries and Cuban shops, in addition to the commitments already made with the Ministry of Tourism and other state entities.

The specialist added that they will also work on assembling windows using state-of-the-art technology imported from Italy, which will allow easy assembly of the pieces with the efficiency and technical conditions essential for its optimal operation.

“We plan to put everything into operation on the 28th since we already have the raw material and qualified personnel who held exchanges with the staff of a similar factory in the European country, Sarría Cherry said.

Among the innovations that distinguish the workshop, belonging to the Cuban Furniture Industry (DUJO), the possibility of installing new acquisitions with polyurethane or cement foam to fill the frames when assembling the doors and windows highlights, which also work as a thermal and acoustic insulator.

LUDEMA is immersed in a range of important local and national orders for 2023 that include equipping various hotels in the country's capital and supplying its productions for other health, economic, and social entities, as well.
