LUDEMA had a very positive management in 2022

The recently concluded 2022 can be described as very positive for the LUDEMA Furniture basic business unit, of Las Tunas; one of the leaders of that industry in Cuba.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Antonio Torres Infante, commercial manager of the entity, also assured that 2023 began with good prospects since raw materials are guaranteed and there are already essential production commitments.

During the past calendar, LUDEMA focused on guaranteeing the furnishings of four hotels in Havana, a pole in which they remain for this year, with the inclusion of two new hotel facilities: the K and 23 Hotel, with more than 600 rooms, and Metropolis, with more than 200.

LUDEMS foresaw an economic plan of 93 million pesos in 2022, which was fulfilled in November so that the figure was higher than the commitment at the end of the year. Torres Infante also pointed out that work was done in other markets, for example, Tiendas Caribe and the Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN).

"As part of our metal production, in 2023 we will start producing, once again, armchairs, which are in great demand and have not been produced for two years. We are in a position to maintain stability in this line throughout January."

LUDEMA also took an important step at the end of the year to bring its products closer to the population and open another alternative market. Coinciding with the province's 2nd Industry and Commerce Fair, a point of sale was inaugurated in which they intend to have a wide representation of the different items they produce.

The completion of the workshop for a new product -doors for tourism and to export- is among the projections for this year.
