Muebles Villa Azul Expo Holguín 2023

Las Tunas.- La XVI Feria Expo Holguín 2023 tiene su "balcón”, por así decirlo, con la presencia en sus salones de empresarios del Balcón del Oriente Cubano, quienes acuden a dicha bolsa comercial a presentar sus productos o servicios y explorar nuevas oportunidades de negocios, en un foro en el que exponen hasta este 7 de abril más de 70 entidades nacionales y extranjeras.

Muebles Villa Azul, pequeña empresa privada asentada en el municipio tunero de Puerto Padre y especializada en la fabricación de muebles, colchones y camas, es la única de la tierra de Vicente García con estand propio en la Feria holguinera. “Acudimos no solo para mostrar un producto altamente competitivo a nivel nacional, sino para socializar lo que hemos logrado a través del encadenamiento productivo”, dijo a la prensa Yunior Pertierra Hernández, su director, antes de que ocurriera la presentación oficial allí, acontecida este miércoles.

Otros actores económicos de Las Tunas también acudieron a la cita, pero en calidad de visitantes. Ese es el caso de las empresas de Aceros Inoxidables (Acinox Las Tunas), Estructuras Metálicas (Metunas), Integral Agropecuaria (Agroint), Industrias Locales (Vascal), Alimentaria y la de la Pesca (Pescatun). En similar estatus estuvieron otras instituciones interesadas como las representaciones aquí de la Cámara de Comercio, el Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales y del Ministerio de Cultura.

LasTunas en Expo Holguín 2023El estar presentes les permitió a nuestros empresarios escuchar reflexiones relevantes como las de Vivian Herrera Cid, directora de Comercio Exterior, dentro del Ministerio del Comercio Exterior y la Inversión Extranjera, quien insistió en la importancia de la integración entre los diferentes eslabones del entramado económico doméstico, especialmente para que más productos o servicios hechos en Cuba lleguen a los consumidores foráneos. “Es importante, dijo Herrera Cid, aprovechar los tiempos; no dilatar los procesos que favorezcan las exportaciones y atreverse partiendo de la competitividad”.

Con Expo Holguín continuó el calendario de espacios análogos que reanudaron su actividad en la parte centro oriental del país tras lograrse el control de la pandemia de la covid-19 el año pasado. Así, en marzo tuvo lugar la Segunda Expo Feria de Emprendimientos, en la provincia de Camagüey; en junio será el turno de Expo Caribe en la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, mientras Las Tunas pretende regresar a finales de año con su Feria de la Industria y el Comercio.
