The Ministry of Communications announced several measures that adapt several of the procedures that are provided in its institutions, in order to avoid the unnecessary influx of people and with it, the spread of the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Sale of toiletries is underway

The measures announced by Betsy Díaz Velázquez, head of the Ministry of Domestic Trade (Mincin by its Spanish acronyms), on the sale of some products released and not subsidized through the regular card of basic supplies and the network of regular stores, is already materialized in Las Tunas with the distribution of toiletries.

Less suspected cases at the isolation centers  in Las Tunas

The health authorities of the territory report today 51 discharges of suspected patients in isolation centers, for which a total of 17 remain admitted; of them, three in Los Cocos, four in Los Caciques, four in Aguada de Vázquez, five in the Family Club and one in the Ernesto Guevara hospital.

The Provincial Defense Council (CDP) in Las Tunas and the homologous structures in the municipalities remain permanently activated in order to verify strict compliance with the guidelines adopted by the country and those set forth in the territory to confront the new coronavirus, said Manuel Pérez Gallego, president of that body.
