The presence of the University of Las Tunas (ULT in Spanish) in the sessions of the 14th International Congress on Higher Education 2024, recently held in the Cuban capital, had a positive outcome.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- And not only because the delegation of 67 academics (25 of them in person) was the largest ever to participate in an event of this kind, but also because of the real impact with a view to the possible dream of transforming society and promoting its development.
Universidad 2024 provided the opportunity to socialize with experts from different countries, disseminate the academic services of our university, including the Ph.D. in Education Sciences and various master's degrees, and promote the internationalization of valuable academic processes such as the Latin American Speakers' Forum and the ULT Scientific Convention.
The signing of several agreements and the conclusion of letters of intent with different universities around the world are also highlighted as windows that open up to dialogue, the exchange of knowledge, and the necessary ambition to enthrone science and make it grow in all directions.
Topics such as entrepreneurship in Higher Education, university extension, sustainable development, and educational inclusion were on the agenda; a valuable possibility that enhances quality, relevance, and sustainability.
