Seventy-four constituencies of the Las Tunas eight municipalities go to the second round of the elections for delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power today because any of the candidates achieved the required votes in the first turnout at the polls.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Since last Monday, activities began to secure the organization of the runoff, i.e. the information to the people, preparing and publishing the nominees' biographies, and printing the ballots.

The 74.01 of the registered voters of this eastern Cuban province went to the polls the previous Sunday, according to data offered to 26 by Martha Rodríguez, the president of the Provincial Electoral Council. On that occasion, 595 constituencies elected their delegates.
