After the search for the incorporation of gastronomic units into virtual scenarios and e-commerce, four restaurants from Las Tunas have a presence in the Sabor Cubano platform, and nine others are finalizing details to venture into this modality.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- Roger Luis Nieves Fournier, the institutional communicator of the Commerce Business Group (GEC), commented to 26 that they recently entered the national platform, managed by Defense Information Technology Company (XETID), and in the case of Tunas, they only offer the possibility of making reservations at the desired time and date to go to the restaurants that so far meet the technical requirements.
The GEC intends to promote more and more electronic commerce, so we are trying to take advantage of every technological possibility," said Nieves Fournier. We started with the 2007 Restaurant, La Arboleda, La Parrillada, and 1876, but we intend to reach the 13 most emblematic establishments in the province shortly.

"At the moment we do not have the take-out option enabled, but it is our medium-term goal. So far we are limited to the reserve offer, we need to create the technical conditions to continue growing."
Sabor Cubano is an online platform for the promotion, marketing, and online sales of products and services offered by coffee shops, bars, restaurants, creameries, candy stores, and bakeries throughout the country.
The use of this site allows you to obtain information about the services offered, the geographic location, opening hours, daily menu and prices, take-out service (if available), available reservations, and even the ingredients used to prepare the food in these gastronomic institutions.
It has a photo gallery that illustrates the facilities and the dishes you can taste in it, as well as sessions that tell you the best restaurants to visit and so on.
The institutional communicator informs that to access the available offers you must access the website saborcubano.xutil.net and once inside, on the main page you must choose the province where you want to search for gastronomic offers. So far there are only offers in Holguín, Pinar del Río, Havana, Villa Clara, Camagüey, Las Tunas and Granma, the rest of the provinces do not yet have facilities that use the platform for the promotion and sales of their products and services.
The platform also has an Android APK with which you can access all these offers from your cell phone. Sabor Cubano offers the possibility of e-commerce through the Enzona platform with cards issued by any Cuban Commercial Bank (Metropolitano, Bandec, and BPA).
