Rains continue in Las Tunas.

The rains of the last 24 hours in Las Tunas, associated with the instability generated to the east of a trough in medium and high levels of the atmosphere, have been abundant.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- This is how experts from the Provincial Meteorological Center highlight and report that intense rainfall occurred in the town of Monte Fresco, in the municipality of Colombia, with 150 millimeters (mm), and significant records in 18 other places of the province.

In the northern region, there are reports of 60 mm in the towns of La Guinea and Las Catalinas, both in Manatí; and in the municipality of Jesús Menéndez, 75.3  and 89.3 mm in Copo del Chato and  "Juan Sáez" dams, 76.5 in the Menéndez Aqueduc, and 63 mm in Vega de Mano.

Rains continue in Las Tunas.

In Majibacoa, the highest rains were in La Ceiba (52.3 mm), Playuela Dam (52), San Agustín (68), Omaja (92), Las Parras (84) and El Rincón Dam (60 mm).

Bartle, in the provincial capital, reported 77 mm; while Jobabo had significant rains in "Ramírez", with 50 mm.
To the south of the province, the 58 mm falls in the town of Los Unidos, in "Colombia," as well as Paraíso (84 mm) and Guayabal (58.5), the two latter communities in the municipality of Amancio, also stood out.

The experts indicated that the conditions remain favorable for rains to continue in the coming hours.
