Youth and children were the protagonists of the main activities that took place in Las Tunas to remember the third anniversary of Fidel's death. It was a very intense day in which dances, songs, brushes and poems to the wind prevailed. It was a very Cuban way of showing off the love and respect of the new generations for who is, unquestionably, the Historical Leader of the Revolution.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Special mornings and meetings of different dimensions distinguished the awakening in the schools and in many workplaces. However, the special ceremony took place in the afternoon in this city. Pioneers and young people gathered in the Vicente García Park and in areas around the José Martí Square to exchange experiences and, in the heat of these times, to talk about his teachings.

The young members of the Hermanos Saíz Association dedicated to him a political and cultural evening. Before, the Provincial Concert Band led by maestro Cristino Márquez had convened with a special activity on the surroundings of the Cultural Plaza. The concert of the young artistic vanguard stood out, among other successes, for the accompaniment of the good painting.

Moreover, the middle of the improvised stage in the José Martí Square was chosen for placing canvases that in the afternoon were given to Fidel, from this city, by the brushes of consecrated local artists accompanied by Nelson Domínguez, the National Award of Plastic Arts holder who was specially invited here in this date. The troubadours gave their voices to the evening. They listened to the wind anthological themes of the national trova and again the Era gave birth to a heart and the poets sang the why they sow roses as well as reasons of flags and arsenal.

In the houses, of course, silent tributes were made. It was easy, when passing through any corner of the city, to find a Cuban flag in the portals, a different photo in the middle of the block and a local who told you yes, before the image of the saint he has in a place of his home was candlelit. All, to one, for Fidel.
