The José Martí Plaza, one of the greatest symbols of the province of Las Tunas, located in the historic center of the city, arrived at its 28th anniversary.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The Plaza has as protagonists the Cuban National Hero José Martí, whose face is on many Cuban stages, but -in this case- by the hand of the excellent sculptor Rita Longa. And also to Ángel de la Guardia Bello, the only eyewitness to the death -in Dos Ríos- of the most universal of all Cubans, in whose honor a monument is erected in the exact place where he fell in combat.
