59 cadres and workers were recognized for their years of service.

A few hours after commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the victory of the Revolution in the sands of Playa Girón, the Major General Vicente García Revolution Plaza became the ideal setting to honor 59 cadres and workers for years of service in the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), in Las Tunas.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The recognition ceremony was attended by Walter Simón Noris, the first secretary of the PCC Committee in the province, as well as Manuel René Pérez Gallego, outgoing secretary, and other members of the Provincial Bureau.

The well-deserved honor went to those men and women who for five and up to 40 years have worked uninterruptedly in different departments of the political organization. On behalf of all of them, Beysi Pérez Vivar read words of gratitude, in which she referred to the pride that this recognition represents for them. Furthermore, she urged those present to be zealous guardians of the concept of Revolution pronounced by our undefeated Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

"This encouragement for the work carried out for so many years in the tasks of the Party also means the sacred duty to continue defending the principles and values that together with revolutionary unity have always led us to victory."

"We ratify the commitment to be faithful to Fidel's legacy and our history, in defense of freedom, sovereignty, and the right to freely choose our political system, supported by a work that transcends us all due to the social justice that distinguishes it; to continue working tirelessly in the construction of socialism and supporting our leaders.”

Serving the Homeland is the greatest honor that these Cubans committed to the legacy of our heroes carry on their shoulders.
