The Syrian government on Sunday expressed its full and unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as their capital.
Damascus.- Syria's stance was expressed in the legal contribution document at the International Criminal Court (ICC) concerning Tel Aviv’s practices in the occupied Palestinian territory and their legal consequences.
Syria's Foreign Ministry said that "we stand firmly and unwaveringly with Palestine and support any diplomatic and legal action for the Palestinian people to get their freedom and enjoyment of legitimate historical rights."
According to the text, Damascus condemned the Israeli crimes including the nonstop attacks on Palestinians and Golanese and its continuous violations of the provisions of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter.
It further stressed the need to hold Israel, the occupying power, accountable for such crimes and violations.
