Fighting against the COVID-19

Members of the State Sanitary Inspection (ISE, in Spanish) of the Municipal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Puerto Padre concentrate their professional performance in the fulfillment of sanitary-hygienic measures in entities and institutions of the locality.

Puerto Padre, Las Tunas.- Educational centers and Public Health, as well as Commerce and Gastronomy units, where there are more crowds, are in the sight. Queues and other labor centers are also part of the inspections.

Under the provisions of decree-laws of the sector, such as 272, fines between 100 and 300 pesos (MN) are imposed on those who violate the mandatory use of the facemask, as well as physical distancing; in the same way, to administrative officials for non-compliance with the placement of containment barriers like handwashing and footwear disinfection.

The number of sanctions increased this week, but there are still insufficient given the urgency of educating and enforcing the legislation, by virtue of the health of the population.
