The initiative materialized in the blink of an eye. The Graphic base business unit (UEB) of this eastern territory also joined the task of making face shields to donate to the Provincial Health Directorate, with the aim of contributing to the safety of medical personnel who work directly with sick and suspected patients of suffering from COVID-19.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Maritza Martínez Amoró, director of the UEB, assured 26Digital that they have made a small sample of 60 to send them to Health and that if necessary they are willing to make agreements to continue production.

"So far we have only made a small number of protectors with the materials that we had available and that we use in our production processes," argued Maritza.
"The design has a double layer headband and the protector was made with binalti, a transparent material that we use in the prepress of graphic productions."

The directive reiterated that in case the health authorities of the territory decide, the Company is in the greatest disposition to start producing the protection means on a scale.
