The health authorities in Las Tunas are monitoring surveillance of suspected COVID-19 patients, their contacts, and travelers who came from other countries, an activity that is now being strengthened by rapid diagnostic tests and real-time PCR.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- A total of 107 people are in isolation centers, hospital institutions and 45 other people from Las Tunas are currently in the Lenin campus of the local University, according to the latest information provided to 26Digital.

On the other hand, 84 travelers who arrived in the country after the 24th, the date on which the measure to isolate them in local centers from the moment of their arrival is adopted, are in Cerro de Caisimú and at the University of Medical Sciences, specifically in the former Polytechnic of Health. Another 409 are controlled by the family doctor and nurse in the communities.
