As a consequence of the difficult epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19, the trade network in Las Tunas has arranged the sale of one percent chlorine in six specific premises of the city and through the ration card for basic supplies per family.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- The sale points were set up in Las 40, Colón Street, 12-Floor Building, La Victoria and the markets El Oriente and Leningrado.
Nodelcio Rodríguez Ortiz, acting director of Commerce, in the Business Group of this ministry, assured 26Digital that on Sunday a supply of 15,600 liters of five percent chlorine arrived in the province. In the territory, it was reduced to one percent to guarantee coverage of all population centers.
Chlorine is an essential product to fight the virus that today threatens the country, he said, which is why we have created agreements to bring it to every family. At first, we guaranteed the distribution in the head municipality, in Puerto Padre and Majibacoa. Later we will take it to the rest.
We do not have larger quantities because it is in bulk and we do not have enough containers to receive large volumes, but we can ensure that the supply will be constant.
We established that its sale would be regulated through the card for basic supplies to be sure that we reach each family, we bring the merchandise to them so that people do not have to circulate all over the city in search of the disinfectant.
We urge people to come to the points of sale in a staggered manner. They will be informed in the stores where they buy the basic basket exactly where they should make this purchase.
