Cuba and Africa are finding new ways to strengthen a growing solidarity movement

Cuba and Africa are finding new ways to strengthen a growing solidarity movement in both directions, leader Victor Gaute said after arriving in this capital on Friday.

Luanda.- “The solidarity we receive and the one we systematically give to the African nations is important for us,” the vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) told Prensa Latina.

Arriving in Luanda means “an enormous happiness because our historical, cultural, and blood ties with Angola are of special strength,” he said.

The visitor´s program will be focused on joint work to enrich everything done so far, explained Gaute, who thanked, in particular, the support to his country in the fight against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the US Government. (PL)
