Cuba's foreign policy is effective, rigorous, committed

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel described his country's foreign policy as effective, rigorous, committed, prestigious, ethical, and a world benchmark.

Havana, Cuba.- At a meeting with the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs members to take stock of the results achieved in 2022, Díaz-Canel highlighted Cuba’s diplomacy role during more than six decades of hard struggle for the Revolution.

Reportedly, the head of State called for the increase of work in the economic sphere achieved in political relations, using innovative proposals for the purpose.

He also urged to foster solidarity, the trait that distinguishes Cuba at an international level and consolidate links with people globally, who have defended this country as their own.

The president denounced that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the United States showed its perversity, arrogance, and cruelty by denying Cuba access to medicines, vaccines, oxygen, and lung ventilators.

Díaz-Canel also stressed that the fallacy of sonic attacks against US diplomats in Havana was demolished in the last few days, to which contributed the work done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conjunction with other international organizations. (PL)
