Barajas airport was at a boiling point today with the presence of 389 Spanish travel agents, who will take part in a convention and the Cuba Tourism Fair.

Madrid.- Grouped in Terminal 1, the tour operators, associated with DIT Gestión de España, flew to Cuba on Sunday on an Iberojet flight.

They will take part in a convention until May 7 and will also attend the largest tourism exchange on the Caribbean island.

Jose Maria Campos, manager of Viajes Catedral de Sevilla, told Prensa Latina that he has not visited Cuba for 20 years and now he is doing so with great expectations to get to know its infrastructure, hotels, and other facilities.

"I think there is a lot of potential and interest from travelers from Seville and all of Andalusia," he said.

In the same sense, Blanca Nieves Martinez, from BlanTours Travel, from Vitoria, Basque Country, pointed out that the meeting in different tourist centers of the Island offers great opportunities to promote Cuba. (PL)
