Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa arrived in London on Friday to attend King Charles III's coronation, according to diplomatic sources.

London.- Valdés Mesa heads the Cuban delegation to Saturday’s coronation ceremony, which more than 1,000 guests from some 200 countries are expected to attend, local media reported.

British authorities have deployed more than 20,000 police and security personnel to ensure peace during the event, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, the venue for 39 coronations since 1066. (PL)
