121st anniversary of non-stop diplomatic relations between Cuba and Mexico

Cuba and Mexico are currently feting the 121st anniversary of non-stop diplomatic relations, the Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX) posted on Twitter.

Havana, Cuba.- The strengthening of bilateral political, economic-commercial, and cooperation relations is an example of brotherhood between both peoples and governments, MINREX added.

Mexico has often reaffirmed its unrestricted condemnation of the hostile blockade imposed by the US government on Cuba and declared its intention to lead the international community´s efforts to eliminate this unjust policy.

Likewise, Mexico has reiterated the pressing need for Cuba to be withdrawn from the arbitrary U.S. list of states sponsoring terrorism, a title that averts international financial transactions and hinders transactions from foreign companies.

Cuba-Mexico bilateral relations have shown more stability than with other Latin American nations. Even before Cuba was constituted as a Republic, the pathways between the two peoples were intertwined under a common purpose for sovereignty, progress, and social justice. (PL)
