Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero said at the 3rd Eurasian Congress that national, regional, and global challenges make us find our own solutions and viable projects in favor of cooperation.

Sochi, Russia.- He also pointed out the need to collaborate in the scientific-technical field, finance, transport and logistics infrastructures, computerization and digital transformation, tourism, industry, and humanitarian cooperation.

Marrero said that as an observer nation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Cuba can play a significant role in increasing economic relations between the countries of the group and those of Latin America and the Caribbean, based on its geographic location and the agreements in force.

This 3rd Eurasian Congress was devoted to the economic cooperation of Eurasian countries in the middle of international tensions and was attended by government representatives, the business community, academia, and the media.

Vladimir Putin, who was present at the closing ceremony of the Congress, noted the vital role of the EEU and called for the development of industry and joint business, and also stressed the importance of technological sovereignty, e-government, and interbank relations. (PL)
