He explained that the essential objective of the work they carry out is to identify people who have symptoms associated with the coronavirus or acute respiratory infections and make it known in the Health areas.

He added that the young people who are carrying out this mission do so in a very professional way. He emphasized that they have been trained, they have the appropriate means of protection and they are well aware of the measures they must take to avoid possible contagion.

The student leader said that young people also participate in health hearings that take place in Las Tunas neighborhoods, as well as in maternity and elderly homes, with the purpose of warning the population about the symptoms of this condition and the hygienic measures that must be taken to prevent its spread.

On social media, many of these young people share images of the important work they are undertaking today; and provide their support for health prevention and promotion through messages such as: “Our student army is not intimidated by #Covid19. A step firm, together with our Revolution, we will be invincible. Our people need us, we owe you.”
