Special measures to guarantee road safety aimed at students security

Special measures to guarantee road safety will be a top priority for the start of the new school year in Cuba on coming Monday.

Havana, Cuba.- According to the Cuban News Agency (ACN), the regulations, implemented by the General Directorate of the National Revolutionary Police and the National Road Safety Commission, are aimed at encouraging drivers to practice more responsible attitudes. These include extreme speed caution, attention to driving, and pedestrian crossing, among them minors and elderly people.

Local authorities also focus on parents and people responsible for the custody of minors, the correct use of sidewalks, crossing at the right places, personal example, proper behavior on buses, and traffic hazards. (PL)
