Cuban Energy Minister Vicente de la O met with Russian Deputy Energy Minister Evgeny Grabchak in this capital on Thursday to analyze the construction of new generation capacities in Cuba, the government informed.
Moscow.- Prensa Latina also learned that both officials assessed the possibility of modernizing Cuba’s energy industries, one of the fundamental sectors prioritized in the country’s development plan.
Both ministers addressed cooperation in the oil and gas sector, including issues related to crude oil production.
“Electricity plays a decisive role in Cuba’s economy and should be the basis for the development of all sectors, including fuel and energy,” Grabchak said after the meeting with De la O. (PL)
