The Cuban Ambassador and the President of the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce discussed the possibility of including Cuba in the route of countries projected by the institution.

Cuban Ambassador Jorge Ferrer and Enkhtuvshin Dashtseren, President of the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, agreed on Thursday to hold activities related to opportunities for bilateral economic-commercial relations.

Ulaanbaatar.- During a meeting at the institution’s headquarters in Ulaanbaatar, Ferrer and Dashtseren discussed the possibility of including Cuba in the route of countries projected by the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce as part of the International Business Training Program for about 1,000 entrepreneurs of this nation.

The project includes short periods of business preparation in other nations, according to a report from the Cuban embassy in Ulaanbaatar on the meeting, which was also attended by the head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Cooperation of that organization, Ariun Ch. and the head of the Department of Exhibitions, Battulga Ch.

Ferrer handed over Enkhtuvshin Dashtseren a letter signed by his Cuban counterpart, Antonio Carricarte, with an invitation to participate in the 40th edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2024, to be held on November 5-9.

The diplomatic source affirmed that the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce president thanked and welcomed the invitation.

The Cuban ambassador mentioned other events in Cuba, such as the International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2024 on May 2-5 and the 19th ExpoCaribe 2024 in Santiago de Cuba on June 26-29.

The business leaders invited Cuba to the International Spring Fair in Ulaanbaatar on May 16-18 and the Autumn Fair on September 26-29. (PL)
