
The Cuban government expressed its opposition to the naval blockade imposed by the United States on Venezuela, a position reported in local media.
Havana, Cuba.- “We strongly reject the naval blockade of Venezuela by the US government,” declared Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel in a message on X.
“We firmly support President Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, and its Popular-Military Union,” added the head of state.
On the same social media platform, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez expressed “full support for the statement published by the Venezuelan government,” which denounces and challenges the US measure.
He also commented that “the naval blockade against Venezuela announced by the US government is a grave violation of international law and an escalation of aggression against the Bolivarian government.”
“Our full and unwavering support for the constitutional President Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, and its Popular-Military Union,” proclaimed the Cuban Foreign Minister. (PL)
