A team of 60 Cuban collaborators is back in Cuba from Kuwait. They supported the fight against Covid-19 for a year and treated more than 100,000 patients.

Havana, Cuba.- In his welcoming remarks at Havana's José Martí International Airport, the director of the Cuban Medical Cooperation Unit, Jorge Juan Delgado, thanked the personnel for their performance on behalf of President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the authorities of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

The brigade began in June 2020 the medical exchange between the two countries and left a deep relationship in the institutions where they worked, he added.

The Cuban brigade in Kuwait arrived in the Arab nation on June 5, 2020. It was made up of 298 collaborators. (RHC)
