Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denied the existence of any agreement with Spain to facilitate the departure to that country of Yunior García, promoter of a destabilizing march for last Monday.

Havana, Cuba.- "The trip of García and his wife is not the result of an agreement between governments, of any decision by the Cuban government, or any judicial decision," the Foreign Affairs Minister told AP news agency.

"I suppose (García) is exercising the right that any Cuban has to travel and move freely," he added.

The U.S. and Spanish media reported the denunciation of the Archipiélago organization about the alleged disappearance of García, who arrived in Madrid on Wednesday.

The news reported by CNN and other media outlets referred to alleged detentions, disappearances, and human rights violations amid an intensified struggle to generate chaos in the Caribbean country supported by the White House.

However, the European media announced García's surprise arrival in the Spanish capital this Wednesday "after he was unable to carry out his plans to parade through the streets of Havana last weekend", reported Europa Press.

From his Facebook page, the promoter of a supposedly peaceful march reported his arrival in Spain with his wife "alive, healthy, and with his ideas intact." (RHC)
