Numerous governments, international authorities and groups of friends of Cuba have sent messages on the occasion of 63 years since the triumph of the RevolutionPresident Miguel Díaz-Canel expressed gratitude on Saturday for numerous messages of congratulations sent to the government and people of Cuba on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

Havana, Cuba.- Díaz-Canel, who is also the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), stressed on Twitter that “this beautiful work founded by Fidel and Raúl (Castro) is still standing and in a constant battle. A revolutionary hug.”

He tweeted, “Thanks to the friends of the world who have sent us congratulations on the occasion of January 1, the day of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.”

Numerous governments, international authorities, and groups of friends of Cuba have sent messages on the occasion of 63 years since the triumph of the Revolution led by Fidel Castro on January 1, 1959.

The day before, in a message at the end of 2021, Diaz-Canel pointed out that 2021 was a year of losses and hard learnings, but also of victories, and called “to embark on the New Year’s path together, with optimism and joy.”

He affirmed that “each and everyone together can do better” and pointed out that “the great pending challenge is economic recovery, which will only be possible if we keep COVID-19 at bay and take advantage of everything that the country has transformed in search of efficiency.”

The president added, “There is no indication that the US blockade will end. Everything will depend on us and our own strength. Let’s try again that it can be done! Let’s make the impossible possible!” (PL)
