Sancti Spíritus, Cuba.- The health group is made up of nursing personnel and specialists in General Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, and Burns; as well as Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Intensive Care, and Angiology.

Some of these professionals are members of the Henry Reeve International Contingent with extensive experience in medical care in disaster situations.

Meanwhile, health authorities assure that the General Camilo Cienfuegos Provincial Hospital in the capital of Cuba has prepared its facilities to attend, if necessary, those injured in the accident that occurred on Friday evening in the industrial zone of Matanzas.

For its part, the management of the Base Business Unit subordinated to the Empresa Nacional de Servicios Aéreos reported that four M-18 aircraft from the center are helping to extinguish the fire.

Meanwhile, the country’s authorities and specialized forces continue the actions to stop the spread of the large-scale fire this Sunday.

Aerial means of the Armed Forces and transport companies of the island and technical support from Mexico and Venezuela are constantly pouring water on the two tanks in flames.
