Havana, Cuba.- On his Twitter, Rodríguez sent condolences to the victims' relatives and friends and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He informed that the Cuban consul in Mexico City immediately went to the scene.

In Tehuacán, with the support of Cuban residents, the official is providing consular assistance to an injured Cuban national and is in contact with the family in Cuba, he said.

Rodríguez Parrilla said he is in close communication with the proper authorities, who are continuing with the process of identifying the victims, and reiterated Cuba's commitment to regular, orderly, and safe migration. (RHC)
