Young artists support anti-COVID-19 vaccination in Las Tunas

Art seduces in waiting time. They carry on their shoulders the first dose of the “Abdala,” Cuban anti-COVID-19 vaccine. Young artists from the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), in Las Tunas, accompany them.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- “It has been a pleasure for us that ours has become, not only the House of Young Creators; further, it opens its doors to be a protagonist of the history of "Abdala" in Las Tunas. Young creators have had, and have, the responsibility of reaching the public. We are pleased that now it is not only the youth of our times, but all those who come here to receive their dose of “Abdala;” but, also, love and good art."

"We will be accompanying the health personnel and the people throughout this process while our facilities function like a vaccination center," Ana Irma Pérez Perelló, president of the AHS in the province, says.

Around 90 members of the youth cultural association, exponents of different artistic expressions in the capital municipality, join their performance to health actions: consultation, injection, medical surveillance for one hour to attend to possible adverse reactions.

Vaccination against COVID-19 finds in the headquarters of the AHS a combined different nuance: along with “Abdala,” the spirituality of the soul also reaches our people.
