The Cucalambeana Fiesta, the supreme party of the Cuban peasantry, will take place in Las Tunas from June 28 to July 2, dedicated to the 194th birthday of Juan Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo (El Cucalambé), the greatest bucolic poet of the 19th century in the Island; the intellectual Haydée Santamaría Cuadrado; the poet and plastic artist Renael González Batista, and the 45th anniversary of the System of Culture Houses (CPCC).

On one occasion Omar Valiño expressed: "The true success of Teatro Tuyo lies in having planted and made grow, in a desert land, a leafy nose tree." I look at the watering can that hangs from the top of the poster that talks about the 4th Clownclave Academic Meeting and the plant that stands below, and I think about how much wisdom those words contain.
