Pedagogy 2023, a favorable space for the exchange of ideas and mutual learning to improve Education

Summoned to the International Pedagogy Congress 2023 and under the premise that a better world is possible, a hundred educators from Las Tunas gathered at the Luis Urquiza Jorge Vocational Pre-university Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) to exchange experiences and results of the work to improve the teaching-learning processes.

Pedagogy 2023, a favorable space for the exchange of ideas and mutual learning to improve EducationDoctor of Science Madelaine Reynosa Yero, a member of the Organizing Committee, said that a similar number of papers will be presented in seven symposiums on access to inclusive, equitable, and quality education, the establishment of partnerships between Technical and Vocational Education, and economic actors and the challenges of Higher Education in the face of the 2030 Agenda.

"Besides, other axes of the debate revolve around Environmental Education, science, technology, and innovation in favor of education, educational sciences, and the comprehensive training of children, adolescents, and young people," the director said. She also said that the delegation from Las Tunas to the international meeting is composed of 25 people, 15 of whom will attend in person and the rest, virtually."

In the inaugural conference, Doctor of Science José Ignacio Reyes spoke about the perspectives and challenges of Cuban Education and highlighted the aspiration of Pedagogy 2023 to constitute at the local level a favorable space for the exchange of ideas and mutual learning in favor of that future that is already sitting in the classrooms.

Alba María Naranjo Rodríguez, methodologist of the Municipal Directorate of Education in "Colombia," pointed out to 26 that after participating in several editions of the event, both in the territory and in the national conclave, she values that these meetings have a particular significance as offer tools to improve the work of teachers and directors of the educational sector, by generalizing the pedagogical experiences after applying these results in the educational institutions, all in favor of developmental learning.

The provincial edition will select the papers that will represent Las Tunas at the 18th International Pedagogy Congress 2023, which will take place at the Convention Palace between January 30 and February 3. This will represent an opportunity to ratify as a forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge and to arrange collaborations in the academic field to improve the quality of education.
